Today Apple has unveiled the iPhone 4, which will be launched in the UK on 24 June. Apple’s latest iPhone features the highest resolution display ever built into a phone, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, and HD video recording. It has also been built to be the thinnest smartphone in the world.

Apple said this week it has sold two million iPads, less than two months after launching the touchscreen tablet in the US, much faster than predicted. This is despite the fact the company had to delay the device’s international launch by a month because it could not keep up with demand.
Only last Friday, the iPad, which combines the mobility of a smartphone with the speed of a laptop, went on sale in the UK, and also launched in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain and Switzerland. The original UK launch date had been set for late April.
