Do you look good all the time ?
article compiled by steve

Every wise web designer or developer knows that their webiste is going to look a little different in the wide variety of web browsers that are now avaliable. The probelm usually presents itself with the older browsers.

Most of us have a copy of the main browsers, Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome. We may even have back copies of Explorer 6 and 7. However you never know what you visitors are going to use to view your client’s new website, unless you are ucky enough to have some good web stats given to you at the start of your project.

You may look good all the time, but your new website might not

Browsershots makes screenshots of your web design in different browsers. It is a free open-source online service created by Johann C. Rocholl. When you submit your web address, it will be added to the job queue. A number of distributed computers will open your website in their browser. Then they will make screenshots and upload them to the central server here.

You can find Browershots at http://browsershots.org/.

This is a good resource and worth using for those projects where your back catalogue of web browsers is not quite enough.
