The Samsung Galaxy can now be pre-ordered ahead of the 1st November release date. It is currently available on Amazon and Carphone Warehouse which are both offering the P1000 16GB Galaxy Tab for £529.99. This may sound expensive but they say it is a saving of £270 of the RRP.
Rivals for the iPad
Being unveiled at the IFA electronics show in Berlin, Samsung and Toshiba have both promoted their version of the iPad. Samsung’s tablet is called the Galaxy, it runs the latest version of Google’s Android operating system (Froyo) and the specs are as follows
